Dear travellers, thank you for choosing to walk this tour and welcome to the marvel of a city called Nagoya. A city of full of wonder and with untapped potential, that you, together with me (Diederik the travel guide), are about to unlock. This city holds a dear place in my heart as it has become the fertile training ground for both tour guiding and learning the Japanese language in a Japanese language school. If you're walking this tour, that probably means that you have missed the bi-weekly Saturday tour and you might have found out about this walking tour through either my friends over at second home or at the GENKIJACS school.
Now with the formalities out of the way let's get this party on the road and allow me to answer the age old question: "What to do in Nagoya"?.
This tour will consist of approximately 5 stops depending on which day of the week it is:
- starting of at Shinsakaemachi
- continuing to the Saint-Peters Cathedral
- followed by a coffee break at Aoi Celestie
- after a well deserved caffeination, we'll meet the shinto gods at the Fuji Shrine
- consequently after greeting the shinto gods, we'll continue our journey back in time at the Cultural path Shumokukan
- Finally, we'll make our way to the wonderful castle of Nagoya where the group picture has been taken.
Without further ado, have a grand time walking through this city and let the A.I. voice vibrate through the membrane of your DNA.
